The waitress was awesome and the food was delicious. My only complaint is about the high chairs. My son is too small for booster seats so we had a choice between a sturdy looking high chair with broken straps or these other old looking plastic bucket type high chairs with working straps. I chose the working straps ones because my son is too high energy and fidgety. It worked fine for the meal but when I went to take... View all feedback.
What Oswald Jakubowski doesn't like about May May Inn:
We chose to dine in instead of getting takeout, which was a mistake. The service was very slow and the three children of the owner (presumably) were running and yelling in the dining room the whole time. I would never return to this restaurant, even though the food was good. View all feedback.
First order from May. I made the choice. Delicious, sharp, fresh, large quantities. Very recommended. Service: Take Meal Type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20

Our family gathering led us to MayMay Inn, where we were greeted warmly and seated at a table to accommodate all six of us. The restaurant had a lovely decor and a peaceful atmosphere, with other diners present. Our waitress, Grace, provided excellent service and took care of our needs throughout the meal. We all ordered Combination plates, which included egg rolls and wonton soup as starters. The soup was flavorful with a mix of wontons, onion, cabbage, and meat, while the egg rolls were hot, crispy, and delicious. For the main course, we enjoyed dishes like sweet and sour pork and spicy diced chicken, both of which were generously portioned and flavorful. Our bill came to over $100 for the six of us, plus tip, but the quality and quantity of the food made it worth it. We highly recommend giving MayMay Inn a try and plan to return soon.
I have eaten here before and had good food, so I placed my takeout order for New Year's Eve at 5pm for 8pm pickup so they would have lots of time to get it prepared. I tried to call at 7:30 to confirm everything was on track but there was no answer on their phone - found out later they got overwhelmed with orders, and instead of having a strategy to cope with them, their solution was to put all the phones on hold, instead of knowing their own capacity and not over promising too many orders for the same time. When I arrived at 8pm, not only was my order not ready, they could not even find the order in their back log using my phone number. They told me it would be 40 minutes. I told them to cancel the order and I left. I will not be back.
For over a year I've driven past May May Inn and wondered what's going on here. The restaurant seems rather dark and quiet during the day. Although I never saw anyone going in or out, there was a sign on the door saying "Help Wanted", and the reviews were good, a positive sign. I finally went in to look at a menu, and to order take out. The young lady tells me, "it'll be 25 to 30 minutes"....another good sign. Seven tables were full, and three people were waiting for take out. I returned after half an hour, picked up my order and went home....determined to be critical.First, was the Chicken Egg Drop With Mushroom soup; fresh mushrooms and a gently poached egg float in a delicious broth. Next, was the egg roll; home made, and stuffed with fresh bean sprouts. Last, was the May May Inn Lo Mein, with its perfect ratio of noodles, to stir fry, to sauce. The locals know, and now so do I, that May May Inn is the place to get great Chinese food in Kingsville. Follow the signs.
