"People of color beware- you will be treated as a second class patron!! We entered right after an Anglo-Canadian couple came in. They were given menus. We were told by the server that someone would be with us shortly and didn 't serve us menus or water. After 10 minutes waiting, the same gentleman arrived and asked us what we wanted to drink. We placed two drink orders and asked for menus. He apologized and brought them to us. We ordered and after 30 mins of no food (Anglo couple had already began eating their food), we asked if we can at least get bread. He said it 's in the oven. the Cocktail (whiskey sour) didn 't even taste like a whiskey sour. After 45 minutes we paid for the two drinks plus $5 tip and started to leave without drinking the drinks. We told another wait staff that we Paid for drinks on table but given we didn 't get even bread after nearly an hour that we were heading to another restaurant to eat. Nobody even apologized to us. of they were busy we would 've even understood but it was obvious this was a discriminatory act (or a total incompetent server, or both)."

"We found Jack's in the Windsor tour guide, so we thought we would give it a try. Visiting Canada for the second time on our vacation, we didn't know where to eat. Boy did we make the right choice! The food and service was wonderful! We would recommend this place to anyone who loves and or visiting the area!"

"So, we're in town to visit relatives, and stayed in Kingsville for two nights. Checking on yelp with found O'Sarracino, and really liked the food. I had the quatro formaggi gnocchi and I can't remember what the husband had, it was tortelloni dish with ham and peas (I think). The bread that's served is lovely and warm and comes with a nice olive oil/balsamic mix. The salad that comes with the meal has a good dressing that isn't too heavy. We finished the meal with a slice of cheesecake, which was arguably some of the best cheesecake we've had in a long time. The place was packed; but we found the service to be quite good. Since we had a good experience the first night, we decided to go back our other night as well. This time it wasn't as busy and in hindsight we probably walked in the door maybe half an hour before close. Unlike some of the other reviewers the staff were very friendly and warm and never made us feel rushed at all. This time we enjoyed our meals even more, if possible. We had lasagna and chicken parmagiana with the soup as a started. Creme brulee for dessert. We were the last people in the restaurant but the staff never made us feel like we were keeping them from anything. Made us feel like this is a place we would go to again. Which we will, in fact. We come to visit Kingsville 2-3 times a year and will definitely be back, plus have already recommended it to locals we know."

"Although they have a pretty big menu with a lot of great choices, I decided to see why they call themselves a Ribhouse. It was lunchtime so I only ordered a half rack with fries which includes homemade coke slaw and baked beans.The coleslaw was fresh and delicious, not the creamy type. The baked beans were delicious swimming in their own sweet BBQ sauce concoction.Now the main event were the ribs. I ordered them dry with their Cajun rub as suggested by a friend. WOW. The meat was tender fell off the bone (so cliche but true) and not chewy. The rub was extremely flavourful, not too spicy but just enough kick to keep me awake for the rest of the work day. The atmosphere is pretty good and the staff is very friendly. The food came out fast too, which gave me time to grab a quick coffee before going back to work. Definitely going back."

"The best Donair I have had in Ontario. Greek fries are awesome. Service is top notch. I have eaten here or times and its great every time. I really can't find any fault in this place at all. I look forward to eating...here."

"Just like everyone else, my standards drop as soon as I leave the city on a road trip. Tim 's coffee is on constant radar and tastes fantastic mainly because that 's all you can find. Since I had not done my homework on Yelp, Birdie 's Perch came to my attention when chatting with a helpful young woman working at a vegetable stand on the highway nearby. She said, you know, the bus! Oh yeah, that place. Easy to spot. It was hot out so we didn 't sit in the bus, and instead at the little patio out front under the umbrellas. There is also a neat area with misters that you can enjoy if the temps go even hotter, which they can do in this part of the world. We had tacos and I had a fish poor boy and everything popped with flavour, freshness and was crunchy and perfectly prepared. We didn 't wait long for our order either. It 's worth the drive to Point Pelee National Park, and visiting Birdie 's Perch too!"
