This restaurant is now EL JIMADOR #12. We had driven past this place on Hamblen Road probably a hundred times, and finally decided to give it a try. Had lunch there yesterday and was very impressed. Place was clean, staff was friendly, prompt and attentive. Most importantly, the food was very good. What Taylor K doesn't like about El Lago Mex Grill:
One star because it won't let me choose zero. First, we were not greeted for 5 minutes while we were stared at from the hostess stand. It took 20 minutes just to get drinks. Forgot to bring silverware multiple times, our waiter was never anywhere to be found. Terrible, terrible, terrible. I would never recommend to anyone. View all feedback.
This place has amazing food and drinks. Definitely a big difference under new ownership. Recommend it!
