"Whenever we travel, we search out local breweries. This was a jackpot. Mitchell behind the bar was very knowledgeable about all the beers on tap, as well as local meads and ciders that they serve. He was also helpful regarding the surrounding area. Definitely stop in when in the area. Schwarzbier and the Porter were excellent."

We ventured by this quaint location on an off day (not Friday or Saturday) but Roger not only opened the business but more importantly he shared his warm acceptance and engaging conversation. If you are ever around northern West Virginia (near Morgantown) on a weekend visiting The Screech Owl is a must. Top notch hospitality!"
