"What can I say but sublime. Nestled in the heart of Kinsale, Bastion was one of the last places I had to tick off the Michelin list and by god did it deliver. The wine list was excellent and the food and service sublime. Attentive but not overwhelming. The food, well sourced and wonderfully prepared truly an excellent display of localized contemporary food presented impeccably. Wholeheartedly recommended to anyone nearby or even further afield. This restaurant will not disappoint in truly displaying the wealth of culinary talent and produce access that Cork has available to it."

"During the meal we ordered a coke, specifying we didn't want a glass of coke but a bottle. After waiting a few minutes, we asked for it again, specifying we wanted a bottle and not a glass. Instead, they brought us a glass, so we reminded, though embarrassed, that we had asked for a bottle to share. The waiter asked whether we wanted it to be changed, we said yes, so he brought a bottle. It had already been opened. We tryed it and was clearly flat. As for the food, it was average."

"We were visiting Kinsale and had a recommendation to go to the Spaniard. Food and Service was excellent, most of us had fish dishes and they were delicious. Lovely old Spanish style pub. Definitely recommend to try this pub."

"Really nice restaurant over the water with four to five vegan options marked VEGAN on the menu. I had the burger and my partner had the Fajitas. Nice food. Had 't seen the dessert menu so not sure if it were vegan options."

"We loved this restaurant! Small intimate atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly attentive service! Anne Marie was chatty and helped us learn some Irish phrases. She whipped the cream for Irish coffee by hand. Ask her who 'Max ' is. Recommend lamb cutlets, monkfish, hake, scallops. Michelin guide restaurant. I was too busy enjoying the food to take many photos!!"

"We were last minute walk-in group of 4 plus a toddler on Saturday night. They fit us in, and our waitress (lovely girl from Italy) went above and beyond to make all of us happy and comfortable.
