This is the best restaurant I have encountered. They take care and do it right every time. There is no hit and misses here. Folks you will peep in the kitchen to see if your mom is back there, I did. "Great place to stop for lunch on the way down to the coast from the Triangle area and do wouldn't want to eat at a Vivian Howard restaurant! We enjoyed the smoked oyster special, the fried green tomato appetizer and the broken bread salad (think panzanella) with fried oysters. The oysters are really fresh and prepared well. They also have a nice selection of beer on tap including NC beer. They're is also a bar on one side of the restaurant and then the oyster bar which is the focus of the restaurant. Parking is out front and I could st that it could get difficult to park when the restaurant is busy."
