Lovely pub! Went for Sunday lunch today and it was brilliant, good portions with plenty of meat and great roasties. Staff were friendly and attentive, very dog friendly. Location wise it's a mile from borough bridge and part of a circular walk with some good views. Sunday roast , very nice . The young man who served us was very pleasant as rest of the staff . Only thing that put me off was the amount of dogs in there while we ate , 5 in all , when they all started barking it was like having my meal in battersby dog home .
