What C Lovell doesn't like about Salt Straw:
It 's always busy. I do like they give you a real spoon with your sample and there 's a shoot to return them. Most of the flavors are a mouthful and 'too much '. While I like funky flavors the Strawberry Honey Balsamic Pepper tasted mostly like balsamic. View all feedback.
The young staff are always so friendly and welcoming. They do their very best getting the long lines down.

The line was absurd for the quality of the ice cream. It’s not worth it, go to another ice cream shop.
Overpriced for what you get. One scoop of ice cream is like 8 dollars. Gtfo here. 8 dollars should get me at least 3 scoops filling my dinky cup up. They don 't even fill the cones up much unless you pay extra. I don 't see why people support this type of business. Is the ice cream good? Yes, but is it really any better than what you could buy from a store bought tub? No. Also, when I say is it good ice cream? It 's not hard to make ice cream good, so it 's literally nothing special, just overpriced ice cream shop experience. Salt and Straw is okay, but it 's overrated, and most of their flavors are not very good. There is a reason they 're constantly changing the flavors because they don 't know how to make great flavors. I 'm not impressed by this business, and I don 't understand why my gf likes this place, but that 's life. The free samples are nice, though, but every ice cream shop does this, so it 's not a big deal.
Stay away from the Pear and Blue Cheese to-go tubs. We got one last weekend, and it had black moldy blue cheese. After opening it, a foul smell came; after checking inside, we saw that the blue cheese had already turned black/moldy. I couldn't bear the smell and felt nausea. We just threw the pack away.
