Food is great, very fresh, lovely flavours. The service was very good, staff polite and helpful.......Had my very fussy year old daughter with me, does not like anyrhing ...we ordered her the Tomato and Red Pesto Soup with fresh bread/roll, she loved it and scoffed...the lot. Will be visiting again as the prices were reasonable too. View all feedback.

coffee didn't taste too good. Not sure whether it was a beer that had sat a past or the bean is bad, but it tasted water, bland and stale. a panini ordered that was in order, but nothing special and the price was too high. at least costa they have fresh. View all feedback.

my daughter was looking for new furniture so we visited redbrick mill for ideas. a late lunch in the caffe and frankly we did not wish. eating is pretty bad and...

"Dixons used to be amazing with great value for money and the best ice cream around but recently it just get worse each time. Went yesterday. Ice cream was so sloppy it was more the consistency of a milkshake. I asked for cream on top and it was again sloppy and made me feel ill so I ended up leaving it. I told the woman serving the ice cream was very runny and she just shrugged it off. I’d like to say it could be a one off but I’d gone to the swan lane Dixons as the Leeds Road one is always melting ice cream and rude servers but swan lane was no better. The best I would say is the one down in Batley but this is hit and miss on what theirs is like which makes me think the company just doesn’t really care anymore. I discovered Dixons in my uni days and since have come back to Huddersfield at least once a month with family to introduce them to it but I think now it’s time to stop. Each year they make the cones and tubs smaller and the price goes up. Save yourself £5 and just get a McFlurry."

"Very disappointed after hearing such great things. Small vegetarian breakfast very disappointing, not good value for money. Toast rock hard. BLT served on a thick muffin/breadcake.... Very odd. Chips on children's meal, dry and hard, must have been kept warm for a long time. Table needed clearing, we were having coffee and cakes too and all our dirty plates (with food we had left) were on the table. Won't be visiting again...."
