We always have friendly service at this branch. The children like chicken. Their burgers are so much nicer than KFC leicester High Cross! We had the misfortune of eating at that branch once. My daughter only likes eating zinger burgers when visiting family now and no where else in the country. The staff are smiley and friendly enough. I definitely recommend this particular branch. I came to KFC this evening with a friend via the drive thru, the gentleman that I spoke to over the speaker was very nice and well mannered. However the lady that was on the till and taking the payment was very rude, she barely spoke and didn’t have any customer service skills. Was waiting a while for my order also a lot longer than usual. Overall unhappy with the service this evening View all feedback.

"I mean, they don’t know my name, but it’s got that vibe, y’know? Sometimes walking into a bar feels like you’re Clint Eastwood going into the saloon where everyone’s gonna try shooting you for ordering a whisky. Parish is more like I imagine Cheers is. I say imagine because, to be honest, I’ve never actually watched Cheers I just know the theme tune and something about Sam and Diane. I think maybe Frasier was in it, too, but I’ve never watched that either. He seems like he’d annoy me. Anyway, yeah, Parish, it’s pretty cool, y’know? It’s got like a rock aesthetic going on, so it stands out from a lot of other bars, and there’s always something going on to keep things interesting. Fancy going to a gig? They’ve got ‘em. Quiet drink? Sure, go for it. Louder but still respectful drink? Of course! Pub quiz? They got you covered. Burgers? You bet! Pizzas? Absolutely! Other food items? I’ve never eaten them, but I guess so! Comedy nights? Yep, even those. Water slides? No, I don’t think they have one of those, but it’s really all they’re missing and I don’t think it’s worth knocking off points for. Oh, and the staff are really nice too, but not like that fake nice that can be disconcerting. (Though I try not to judge bar staff and waiters and the like too much anyway unless they’re literally shouting at me or something because they put up with a lot of nonsense in their job, and I know I sure as heck couldn’t do it). In conclusion, I would rank this establishment . It’s the ‘Puss In Boots: The Last Wish’ of Huddersfield bars in that it’s a surprisingly good time, and it makes you feel all nice inside."

"This is our first afternoon tea in the shop after having two takeaway teas over the last 2 years in lockdown. All i can say is wow. Richards cakes are amazing, so light. Everything is so tasty. We've had afternoon teas at other places in...the past but this knocks the socks off them all."

"Disappointing. The menu was very small and when we arrived at 20.30 on Saturday some of the dishes were not available so not much choice left. One of us was coeliac and only a few dishes were available for them so even less choice. We asked for two small beers. Were told that they only had two left and then no more. And the beers served to us were not small but 500ml. We would have only asked for one and shared had we been properly advised. Then ordered wine from the wine list but our choice was not available and again we were not advised but brought a substitute that was not the same. The dining area is very small and our table meant that one of us was looking at a wall and bookshelf so not the best atmospheric experience either. Getting to the very small toilet is a challenge and not a good experience when you arrive. Therefore we will not be returning. There are many better restaurants in Leeds."

"Just moved to the area from down south- returning to ‘God’s Own’. Had a great local F&C take out in Pinner so we were on a mission to replicate this. When we found The Grumpy Frier we hit the jackpot. Freshly cooked fish and delicious fries. The curry sauce is amazing. Highly recommend."
