"Well, I had a nice but not very tasteful tofu katsu burger. The low score is because it is chicken in someone I have eaten with the cauliflower bites for their starter, although it does not eat m*at so, but I cannot recommend it completely to other vegans updated from the previous review on 2023-06-12"

"Our party had two rooms this April. One was 140 L, the other 150 L. They were so tiny one had to crawl over the bed to get in or out. There was no place to open a suitcase, no glass, no shelves in the bath, no reading light, no bed-side table. These rooms would have been minimal in a hostel at 25 L. Eat at the Murray Arms but don't even think of staying the night. Bruce MacPhail"

"I have had a blue badge for my disability for many years have always been treated gracefully. On arrival here today I was questioned as to whether I needed to park in the disabled space close to the building. We had intended staying for lunch but having lost my appetite we had drinks and left to enjoy lunch elsewhere."

"Top location. Right in the middle of the action. Great sized room and service from staff who are managing it the kirkwall hotel next door. The room was fine but we had a very noisy neighbour above us. Banging and walking about, water flushing we heard it all. My other suggestion would be to tidy up street frontage The Shore appears shut down and forgotten about on the outside. Out our window in the courtyard was a blue tarp thrown over some items ??? . Presentation matters."

"First meal in Scotland. This was one of the few places open on Sunday at 5pm. Even though the place says it is Indian, it is actually more akin to Bangladeshi food. I wasn't quite sure of the etiquette or how to order or what I was ordering, so I chose aloo gobi. That's not what I got though. I got a dish loaded with vegetables like zucchini and snap peas that taste like nothing in the United States. It was serendipity at its finest and unbelievably fresh. My wife had food loaded with garlic and it was amazing. One of my head the naab was some of the best I ever had. Rich, fresh, full of flavor. 100% recommend. Vegetarian options: Mostly not vegan. They use copious amounts of ghee. Delicious, just not vegan. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4"

"A lovely little cafe tucked into the street side of Kirkwall and a lovely spot to go to. Generous portions for a good price, excellent waiting staff and a pleasant atmosphere. A fantastic place to go after looking around Kirkwall or a stop on the way to the other end of Orkney."
