This resort in Kit Carson, California is tucked into the El Dorado National Forest with a view of Silver Lake and is accessible through a narrow mountain

Fabulous meal with my love, date night after paddling around silver lake and hiking into Margaret lake, kid free dinner.

"One of the best small/midsize mountain resorts in the South Tahoe area, and in California in general. Good runs, great views, and fun parks. As a local passholder to another mountain I can say that the snow is always better down south. Kirkwood definitely goes deep, even on closing day."
