I am glad I did not read the reviews What drew me to this restaurant was the fresh sounding menu.

We didn't get glowing reviews from friends so we came with low expectations.

I think my trip to Cafe Manila was marred partly by my expectations.

WOW! This chef loves food and it shows. Took the family here on a whim and was truly impressed by flavour and quality of food. Well worth a visit, lip smacking...

Excellent food and service and good value for money highly recommended and a must do in Sydney for all travellers

"Good service and the food was delicious and easily shared. We ate scallops, pork belly then duck, lamb and ocean trout, sides of fries and broccolini. Finished with desserts though very full. Enjoyed the Prosecco and a lovely Shiraz. Definitely recommend and will be back."

"Good selection of options throughout the Asian range with vegetarian options that can be vegan, except the Burnt Butter Cauliflower. We sat outside, which is quite beautiful, allies of restaurants in Crows Nest are set up for it. The interior seats are available at some tables and some benches. Good food, we enjoyed the dishes, the Tamarind Curry had a very nice taste, creamy with a hint of sour. The mushrooms stir fry was also very nice. Spring rolls and dumplings were good. "Really nice cafe and bar with friendly staff and lots of dogs. The coffee wasn't bad although had a rather unusual flavour but the food really stood out. Fairly standard breakfast fare but with twists like lots of sambal and hash and my bowl had a whole potato and half an avocado."

"This was such a nice little place to eat, some outside tables with a cosy atmosphere inside. Amazing garlic bread, beetroot salad was simply the best. Great choice with an extensive menu. Very friendly staff and totally accommodating."
