"A pleasant surprise! Knuckle is a little taste of Americana in east Hokkaido. The burgers are somewhat Japanese style, in that the beef patty is small compared to the bun. The toppings, however, were plentiful. The onion rings were very well done! They offer a lovely little patio but you can also sit inside where the decorations speak to a trendy burger bar in North America. They also apparently offer Dr Pepper which seems to be quite rare. The service was very friendly. We speak a bit of Japanese but the owner was willing to jump in with a bit of English where he could. Recommend!"

"A little more expensive than your typical fast food place, but worth every yen. Fast food will always be fast food, but for some reason, mos seems 'healthier '? Plus, they have a SOY PATTY menu! So if you 're vegetarian/vegan and craving for burgers, it 's always a good option. Their onion rings are a good side menu too. Downside, their location is in the middle of downtown kitami, so there are no parking spaces available, so we always just have our order to go. They let you wait in the car and bring it over when it 's done. I think you can also order online and you can just pick it up at a certain time."
