This property is a little out of the way, but well worth a visit. It is anything but pretentious, but if you a feel like a single slice then try this property. Perhaps a word of caution --avoid the Greek salad. It is nothing more than a green salad with a few olives, some feta and a poor imitation dressing. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Gourmet Pizza:
Bought a medium pizza, the low thirty at the top. It was not said that I would be charged 2 dollars if I used a c/c until I asked the delivery person how a pizza cost 17$ came to 31 with delivery. I figured out that when I saw my bill that was the bill of 29. What? Until then, the bill was processed so I didn't switch to a debit card to save the 2 dollars. These folks are friendly, waiting for your instructions, and the owner always greets us with a smile and greeting. We come back time after time, however, because they consistently make exceptional pizza starting with a foundation based on an exceptional crust. Their toppings are always high quality, very tasty and uniformly excellent. The great service today delivered to us 3 large pizzas on pickup. We enjoyed a pepperoni, a bacon, pepperoni and double cheese, and my favourite, pepperoni, spicy sausage and double cheese. Delicious beyond all others!
Ordered the Classic to pick-up, as I was on my own for the night. Best pizza I've had in the last two years that I've been living in Waterloo. The crust was excellent, crunchy, but not brittle and the red sauce is perfect, tangy but not overpowering. They perhaps need to work on their "positive" attitude towards to customer service, as it seems like you're disturbing them by showing up, but this will definitely be my go to place for pizza now.
This is the best pizza in the Region of Waterloo by far. Perfect crust, excellent sauce. Ned and his staff are all outstanding!
