Homemade chips were really great (and the sauce has a nice kick on it). Had the fried chicken, the Caesars salad with chicken and Clam Chowder. Many good mussels in the chowder, the salad was fresh. Chicken was super fresh (very hot) and very crispy without being burned. Beans were also delicious. read more.

What Evil Dahlia doesn't like about Rudders Public House:
My burger (luna burger) was decent, however, my husband's pulled pork sandwich was saturated with water and it poured out when he raised it to eat. Also had to wait over a half an hour for lunch to arrive when placing order at 11:20 am. Lunch wasbrought to the table and waitress told us appetizer (soft pretzels) had just another minute before they'd be ready, defeatingthe entire purpose of ordering an appetizer. Wait... read more.

Food was good, service was exceptional. Dog friendly heated deck and an actual dog menu for our fur family members. Great experience for all of us.

"We had a nice dinner on Friday night. immediately greets at the door and shows a table through the first etagen kamin. delicious cocktails (with great choices.) the brittle sprudelsalat was divine – well balanced with a delicious dressing. the white fish pate and pasta with fresh truffles were perfect. the pariser brest was a delicious and not too sweet end. a wonderful experience!"

"I’ve been coming here since it first opened. I brought 3 people who have never been. I couldn’t say enough good things about this restaurant…but tonight I was very disappointed! I had the mussels, which are always good. I wanted something simple so I opted for the chicken Francese Big mistake. It was deep fried chicken, with a wilted arugula salad and over cooked potatoes.The chef maybe was thinking chicken Milanese. I’m not sure but KFC could’ve made better chicken. One friend had the veg special and said there was no taste at all. The other two were satisfied but probably won’t return. I’m really upset to have had to write this review, it was a big let down in dining."
