The Blue Point - KITTY HAWK

Had a wonderful meal there the other evening. The Tuna special was cooked to perfection! The staff was beyond friendly and the experience was overall wonderful! The only detractor was a lack of bug traps/lights to keep the many local bugs away from food for the outdoor seating area. Not a deal breaker but I ended up fishing bugs out of my wine most of the night. However this comes with the territory. Would recommend this OBX classic to anybody!!

The host was very accommodating, despite a not recommended reservation. He just waited for 45 minutes for bar seats while we got drinks back and enjoyed the amazing view of the sunset. Once sitting, the food and service inside remained as amazing as the outside view. Both seafood and pigs were delicious. Try as much menu as possible and you will not be disappointed.

The best food we had in Duck. Would come back in a heartbeat. Service was excellent. And the pancake? The best I ever had. We saw the sunset from the bar next door after our meal. One of my favorite holiday memories?

Blue Point is a fantastic special dining restaurant! Located overlooking the bay, the views are wonderful. The staff are always friendly and attentive, the chef's creations are on point, and the mixed drinks are tasty. Be sure to order the oyster stew while it's in season; the shift to she-crab soup over the dinner months. I also appreciate that the wait staff and chefs are very attentive to my food allergies! Blue Point is definitely a must for a special occasion in OBX.

Blue Point is always excellent. Just one of the best restaurants in Outer Banks. Make sure you book early for a good reservation.
