"I have been a fan of Duck Donuts since there was only a single location. The donuts have changed a little, but the experience has changed a lot! Not a quaint, small town outing anymore. I really hope they turn off on-line ordering during the summer months because no one likes waiting in line for 20 minutes only to have an on-line order for 2 dozen donuts cut in front of you! I refuse to go to any of the franchise locations; I save the experience for vacations at OBX."

"The food and service here are excellent. The acoustics are horrible. There was live entertainment and it was so loud you couldn't carry on a conversation. They desperately need to add acoustic tiles to the ceiling. Even after the entertainment left and there were only a dozen people left in the building it sounded like 50. The Sound views are great during daylight hours. I would probably go back for lunch but not for dinner until I know they've corrected the acoustics issues."

"What a fantastic place! I haven’t had better steamed crabs. Ever! Took them to go and they were cooked to perfection. Still piping hot when we got back to our place. The crew working clearly takes pride in their product and it shows. Fresh and tasty!"
