"Taking the fact that klagenfurt has not many hip places- this is definitely one of it. Besides the fact that the menu has room for improvement the location is great. It is in the middle of a park, service is friendly and the caffe place itself is generally edgy. Important to note is that this coffee place is also great for going out! Definitely worth checking out"

"This was my second visit to this café (last time I also ate cake and bought the Lindtwurmkugeln don't remember being particularly impressed by either). I like the fact that it is one of the few open cafés in Klagenfurt on a Sunday afternoon,...has a good selection of magazines and newspapers, which any good Austrian coffee house should have and the coffee is good, too. Service was friendly and quick despite the place being rather full. The Klagenfurt branch is the spin-off of their Bad Kleinkirchheim HQ and some people were pretty excited when it opened a few years ago. I like the fact that they produce nice chocolates, seem to be smoke-free (or at least I could not see or smell an area for smokers I hate it when cakes end up smelling of stale smoke) and overall contribute to Alter Platz being less ghostly on weekends. What struck me was the 1980s flashback regarding interior design it looks pretty much like the cafés of my youth. The price for a cappuccino was €3 at the time of visit."
