"Me and my boyfriend visited Marktküche and believe this was the best (vegan dinner we have ever had. The whole experience was outstanding from beginning to the end. The food was extraordinarily tasty and we experienced surprising tastes and sensations in every course. Our whole experience started with the herb butter, which my boyfriend doubted to be vegan (this is how good it was! . We ordered the 6-course menu and believe this was perfect in terms of quantity and experience. We wouldn't go for less courses because the experience is simply too amazing and each additional dish made us incrementally happy. We also had the wine pairing which was perfectly matched to our dishes. Because we are both vegan, it was especially nice to experience a surprise tasting that usually lives from slow-cooked high-quality meat and fish creations. In my opinion, this was even better than any surprise tasting I had before I turned vegan. On a side note, the restaurant is located at the corner of a street and life was busy around us (bikes, people walking , yet, not loud or annoying to the experience. In fact, we especially loved this location and coziness/ relaxed atmosphere it brought us. Similarly, the whole team was extremely friendly and open for a chat. We really enjoyed this uncomplicated, homely atmosphere of such a fancy place, while still following the restaurant etiquette but adjusting to the guests needs. This is a really unique place. This is for all foodies, regardless of their diet!! We will definitely come back when we visit Zurich the next time."

"This restaurant is inexpensive for Switzerland and is really good quality. The owner is super nice and checked up on us more than once. My boyfriend got the wings and burger and I got the chicken tenders and we both loved it."

"Visited this restaurant on Friday the 13th. December with friends from Ceylon. As a restaurant that has been known to me for several years, I was sure that the quality of the food and service we will receive. We were six people and all decided to have pizza and pasta. And also ordered an excellent bottle of Italian wine, which went very well with the food. Quality, taste, presentation and service were beyond expectations. Very attentive staff and very pleasant. We all had a great evening with a lot of humor. Mercato is an excellent restaurant, cheap and definitely worth a visit if you happen to stay nearby. Thanks again.
