we had a fabulous meal in the moorings on Friday night. it was a set menu, but with a lot of choice on all curses, with additional specials. we had the braided bark and seabass and both were beautiful. the desserts were exceptional. What User doesn't like about The Moorings:
it's great to drive up the place again. the menu is quite simple and I didn't like the guinness. the pint glasses were dirty for all four of us (nitrogen bubbles in the glass). the taste was very bitter to me. the menu has less than 14 items including starter, but eating was good and the chips excellent. Beautiful location. It's a shame that it's not directly located on the marina, but the staff is very friendly. Definitely worth a visit.
Yesterday, we enjoyed delicious food at this restaurant. It's a nice place to visit for a meal with very friendly staff.
