This local pizzeria is one of the best in the area. While not as amazing as some of the pizzas on Lygon Street, it is far superior to Johnny Boys with higher quality ham and tastier dough than many other nearby shops. View all feedback.

I have been ordering pizza from this restaurant for almost ten years now. I have tried other pizza places in the area at family or friends' gatherings, but nothing compares to this place. The pizza is great, the service is usually quick, and the prices are reasonable. The couple who run the restaurant are always very friendly. Overall, it is a fantastic choice for takeout pizza.
My family has purchased pizzas and homemade lasagna from here on many occasions and we are never disappointed. The owners (husband and wife) are friendly and welcoming. Their pizzas are freshly made using quality produce. The ingredients are plentiful and tasty.I highly recommend this pizza shop, which also won business of the year a few years ago.
Since moving into the area 24 years ago, and after trying several local pizza shops, we settled on Mountain Gate Pizza and Pasta as our favourite local. And these days they still make our favourite pizzas for the best value. They do the classic sizes - small, medium and large with lots of topping. And the prices are very reasonable. Our favourite pizza here is the Supreme, with hot salami and extra prawns plus pineapple. BTW - There are a couple of tables to dine in; but it can be a little breezy, so take away is the best option.
John and Tina, a husband and wife team, have been crafting perfect pizzas in Melbourne for over 20 years. Their pizzas are made with love and care, resulting in delicious creations.
