I am just reviewing the mashie golf as my wife and I did not stay at the lodge. The golf was great. It is very scenic, well marked, and the course was long enough that I felt it was good value for money. My only complaint was that the grass was a bit long for a mashie golf course. Reception was friendly and courteous. Booking was hassle free. Beds were clean and comfortable. We asked for a double or queen bed room but was given two single bed room. The room cleanliness below par for a 5-star establishment. The bathroom basin, bathtub and shower fittings was riddled with rust, again not one would expect from a 5-star hotel.
