During a holiday around Koh Phangan we came across “Valentino”. We were more than surprised by the quality of the food and by the owner 's really friendly and down to earth service. We tried excellent Parma ham aged 24 months. The first courses were both delicious, fettuccine with truffles on a wheel of parmesan, and tagliatelle with meat sauce that looked like Nonna 's. At the end of dinner Andrea offered us a cannoli and took a souvenir photo of us. A breath of fresh air from all the Thai food of the previous days. Valentino Italian restaurant in Tongnaipan is an absolute gem! The culinary experience was beyond delightful, I had the octopus salad, which was incredibly tender and full with flavor. The snapper in salt crust was mouthwatering, perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. What stood out to me was their new wine collection, with a unique twist the Coravin argon wine machine. This innovative technology allows them to serve an exquisite selection of wines by the glass, providing guests with the opportunity to sample different varieties without committing to a full bottle. It was a delightful surprise! The newly renovated ambiance of the restaurant was simply captivating, transporting me straight to Italy. Overall, my dining experience at Valentino Italian restaurant was one for the books. The flavors, the ambiance, and the warm hospitality of the staff made it an unforgettable evening.
