"If they are looking for an incomparable Thai eating experience then not further. my fiancée and I enjoyed dinner in the gallery to celebrate his birthday and we were blown away all night. first the prospects of the gold bar, where we enjoyed a drink before dinner during sunset, were breathtaking. for the meal, the owner, chris, was so courteous and explains each of the 10 courses in excellent detail as well as the history and meaning behind them. the ingredients were also the freshest they find and with such care. each dish was full of taste and served a purpose. this was a unique and lifelong experience – if they are in koh tao, they must visit!"

"Nice and tranquil atmosphere, but we weren't blown away by our food. We each had a pita with crispy eggplant, but the ingredients didn't seem very fresh. Flavour was okay. Edit: my partner and I are now blowing the food away, into the toilet that is. Figured that was enough reason to adjust my food-rating to 1 star. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4"

"Although only originally booking a couple nights stay at Taco Shack, I was there for two weeks and enjoyed every day. The staff are amazing, friendly, and know how to make good Mexican food! There is a pool table, darts board, table football etc which help people within the hostel to get to know each other. I also did my SSI diving course with David which was an amazing experience, I would highly recommend doing this whilst staying at the hostel."
