What User doesn't like about Gokul Oottupura:
This is a small veg restaurant. Food is really good and fresh. Lots of North Indian options including chats. best place to have a hunger break. They have out sitting arrangements and one can sit inside the restaurant too. There is a hand wash area where there is no sign board which they need to have and also I have no idea about the toilets if they have. A good family-friendly vegetarian restaurant. with beautiful parking. the best is the ambiente this place. quieter and cleaner escap. eating is also good. they do the best windshield wiper I had. that's worth money.
Very arrogant personal. asked me and my mother to press with another man into a table, although the extension of her restaurant was open and free. I have often asked them why we could not sit there and their answer was that when we sit there, more people will come and use this space, what in-turn would be more difficult for their employees to clean up, and in another case the cashier was rude for me, only because I had not changed with me. He asked me to change. never go there again simply because the personal is rude and arrogant.
Went here on a friend's recommendation. Ended up having the best dosa of my life. The must try outs include dragon idli, though after having one plate they were out of it. Prices are decent. A good standard of filter coffee too.
Horrible experience. Oottupura used to be my family and my, favorite casual dining restaurant before the last 4 months, from when the staff had been replaced. I came excitedly one afternoon to oottupura and the waiters and servers there weren’t minding us, coming to take our orders, even though we kept signaling them. They knew we were their —obviously— ignored our signals and kept giving us attitude. Eventually, after a good 8 minutes, one waiter came to us without menus and told us that there were only 3 main items available and to choose from that, very irritatedly. The food here isn't anything different for a regular keralite coming for a one time meal here. But if you are a non resident of Kerala, this is the must place for you!!! You will love the way they plate evry dish. And their flavour has a very unique blend of the local flavours as well as the exotic ones.. the ambience is great too.. in short its an ADIPWOLI place
