"Rain or shine, the laid back open air bunglelow is a beautiful way to enjoy the beach. The food is savory. The staff is wonderful and friendly. Their pallet couches and comfy cushions make it a relaxing place to talk, play games, or just listen to the waves. They have the most beautiful ocean front property. You can literally walk out the steps and down the beach to the ocean. On a particularly hot day, I ordered my food, went for a swim, and came back to the table when the food was ready. The food is high quality, but the atmosphere has no pretense. All our trips to Cherai Beach start at the Chilliout. We have had all their pizzas, the prawns, the calzone, the burger, the ratatouille, the salads and several desserts. I haven't had a dish there I would not recommend. I just wish they had a beer/wine license."
