We stopped by this bar twice during our trip to Copenhagen in mid April 2016. Its a smaller place, but nice atmosphere. The first time we went was on a Sunday, coincidentally during pub quiz night and it was very busy yet you could hear a pin drop everyone was involved in their Danish only event. What User doesn't like about Oelbaren:
We went here as it was billed in the guide book as run for and by beer nerds. Definitely a wide range on offer and the barman was friendly and knowledgeable, no complaints there. However it was a sunny day outside and the dark interior, coupled with the lame jazz on the speaker gave the place a gloomy air. Don't let that put you off though, as it's well worth a visit.
