We stopped by this bar twice during our trip to Copenhagen in mid April 2016. Its a smaller place, but nice atmosphere. The first time we went was on a Sunday, coincidentally during pub quiz night and it was very busy yet you could hear a pin drop everyone was involved in their Danish only event. What User doesn't like about Oelbaren:
We went here as it was billed in the guide book as run for and by beer nerds. Definitely a wide range on offer and the barman was friendly and knowledgeable, no complaints there. However it was a sunny day outside and the dark interior, coupled with the lame jazz on the speaker gave the place a gloomy air. Don't let that put you off though, as it's well worth a visit. Når det kommer til produktet, specialbygget øl, så finder du ikke en bedre bar i København. Glimrende øl smagning service, og meget entusiastiske værter. Det er ikke min favoritsted at sidde, for selvom det er enormt hyggeligt, er det også meget trængt (og populært).
Great selection of beer and beautiful vibe. I ordered number 10 (it could change later), but it was a very tasty ale!
