the fontana del re is a very cozy and family-run Sardinian restaurant. we have made ourselves a special Sardinian menu that has tasted us all excellent. the owners are very sympathetic and always striving for that of their guests. as it tastes and likes us there, we always approve of a good Italian food. More from the need than driven by the lust to eat in the German land a pizza (in the only decent restaurant in königsbrunn was no place), I go to this pizzeria / restaurant a few hundred meters from the social center of the city (the cineplex). . the restaurant led by Italians (you would say sarden): I sit on the table opposite the kitchen and can not notice that there is a nebula that seems to be in the middle of the autumn in san siro ... the German waiter who speaks an excellent Italian. the menu seen I throw myself on a classic pizza: a thunfish and swirling. they need at least 30 minutes to bring it, while I am having a pseudo-bruschetta that the young offers me (it would be nice to explain what a bruschetta is ...). when the pizza arrives, it doesn’t look bad: at first it’s quite eaten, even if I had expected a somewhat better quality standard from Italians: it’s obvious that it is now baked in an electro-ove. I really don't have any difficulty eating a pizza, but this time she was really, really hard. the cheese was barely cut (he was swirling kilometer-wide), the soße knew nothing (but one cannot expect too much from local products ...). the positive note of the evening is a very enjoyable original HB beer. pizza, beer and water for a total of 15 € appear to me really, really cheap, even if I would rather have spent 25 and had eaten in a somewhat different context decent...
The food here is still super delicious.We were only a few days ago to eat here.The atmosphere is as always friendly and nice.Since a few days the new pizza oven is in operation.At the first try it quickly became clear that there is still a little exercise required because the pizza was getting a bit dry here.
To visit augsburg, we find a hotel in königsbrunn, and for dinner we didn't want to be too far from the hotel, so we find this Italian restaurant near. we sit on veranda and are both satisfied with the pizza and the ordered salmon. the type that served us then proved to be very friendly and professional.
