Shizen Shokuhin Yukimura - Kofu

I had a wonderful experience at this place! During a rainy day, the friendly staff gave us a free green tea sample. Although it is more of a food store than a café or restaurant, we were pleasantly surprised to find a wide selection of vegan products. I was able to find vegan tea, chocolate, mayo, margarine, veggie meats, and vegan bread (which can be hard to find in Japan). Even though some of the staff did not speak English, they understood what "vegan" meant in Japanese and were helpful in checking the ingredients to ensure the items I chose were indeed vegan. I highly recommend this place.
