We were seated immediately after arriving for our reservation. Our server was very attentive. The food was slow to come out of the kitchen, so we waited for quite some time to eat. I had chicken cordon blue, and the chicken was dry. One person had Clam Chowder, and he said it tasted very good. I heard the bread brought to the table tasted really good, too (I eat only gluten free, so not able to have the bread). View all feedback.

Grindstone Charlie’s is one of our favorite places to eat in Kokomo. We receive great service and the food is excellent!!
We had a wonderful dinner there on a busy Sunday. My breaded pork tenderloin was outstanding. The caramel dipping sauce for the waffled sweet potatoes was fantastic. What a great idea! The jalapeño corn chowder was very good; wish I had the recipe. My friends’ baked potato soups and Caesar salads were excellent. Can’t go wrong here!
We had a nice quiet lunch. Our food was hot and delicious. Our server Owen was very friendly and attentive.
Grindstone Charley’s is consistently good. The menu options are somewhat limited and soft drinks tend to be a bit off-tasting, but outside of these minor issues, it’s a great place to eat. Great service with delicious burgers, especially, with bourbon Jack sauce, it’s tough to beat for a casual diner. The air conditioning is a little loud but that’s easily tolerable and offset by the great food and service. I would not hesitate to recommend them!
We had a new server- Kiersten. She was very friendly. She knew the menu items and was very attentive to us and her other tables. She seemed like she is doing well in this position and enjoys what she is doing.
