Fayalwan - Kollam

Had mutton biriyani for lunch on the way to Trivandrum and the biriyani was really good with quality rice and properly spiced and cooked mutton. The restaurant is with good decor, sufficient seating and is maintained neat and clean. The service is excellent and the rates of items are moderate. The restaurant have sufficient vehicle parking which is an advantage. Nice restaurant to dine with family or friends.

Old Style Mutton curry is Super, taste it and it is really a different taste and different style ....

This restaurant is outdated and offers subpar food with no flavor. The customer service is poor and the prices are not justified for the quality of the food. You would be better off dining at a 5-star hotel with a similar price point for a buffet lunch. I reluctantly give this place 5 stars for my review, but in reality, they deserve 0 stars. I highly recommend avoiding this establishment.

I visited this restaurant out of nostalgia. 22 years ago, it was a wonderful place to dine. I still enjoy it today, but the traditional dishes that were once fantastic have now declined. It is a mere shadow of its former self. That's all.
