Just over the border from Switzerland is Konstanz. Highly recommend this town on a day trip from Zurich. This restaurant was very good. Fortunately we were able to get a table at this local place. There is no nearby parking since this is in the old part. However the food is worth the walk and is reasonably priced. Euros only View all feedback.

I wanted to try the Bäuerliche spezialität Dünnele, so I ordered one with pumpkin. On the plate came something that looked and tasted like a wet dish rug. The cheese had the same texture as Philadelphia cream cheese and the pieces of pumpkin were easy to count. Two bites and that was enough for me.
