"I have tried over the years of my visits to Konstanz to make it into Stadtkind, but the place was always was mostly booked. Success on this visit, though. Stadtkind has a variety of seating options from padded chairs, rustic wooden furniture, window seats and throw pillows around the place. There is an additional seating area in the back room kitchen display area. The staff is professional, friendly and efficient. Place your order and pay at the counter and grab a seat. I ordered a soy milk hot chocolate (2,90€ and it hit the spot. They have an extensive assortment of healthy options from eggs, fruits, veggies, fresh baked breads, snacks, desserts, sandwiches and more. It may not be the cheapest option around, but the atmosphere is nice and the variety is very good. Newspapers are around for customers. Not really the place to go if you need to work on projects as they do not offer Wi-Fi, to rotate the seating faster. The restrooms are spotless."
