If you want to eat like in a Greek house, this is the places where you can taste it and enjoy the delicious food as from a Greek mother. I only had a few small appetizers, but it was perfect and I know I'll come back to try more of this delicious food. View all feedback.

Taverna Perasma is unique for us, with absolutely fresh and authentic cuisine. Here Grandma likes with heart, soul and passion, you can really feel that. A lovingly decorated tavern with great people. Evi has such a warm way to deal with guests and her warm smile makes the stay just perfect. That's how you imagine the guest care. We stayed at Oku Resort and eating there not to our expectations of a 5-star hotel, so we visited nearby Taverna Perasma and were absolutely not disappointed. We hope to see you again and recommend the restaurant without exception. What's going on? Annika Noël
We came to this restaurant for our last night in Kos and I couldn't recommend it enough. The food was excellent along with the service and the view of the sunset at the garden were a really great last meal for our holiday. All locally produced products and great recipes. We had the fish of the day, the octopus (Mums Spezial), Pitta bread olive oil/dips and white wine. If you are looking for authentic Greek cuisine in Kos, this is the place to go.
I go too greedy every year and for kos this was the best restaurant. Mama's a great cook! Make sure to order the house made bread because you want to eat every drop of delicious sauce they make. The meatballs in tomato sauce are my favorite with garlic and many olive oil witch brings all flavors together in harmony. When we come back to Kos, we go here as much as possible, I would even return to Kos, just for this food.
We had dinner here beginning of July, after a long day at the beach. When travelling, we always like to try out authentic homecooked meals instead of the industrialised produced food for tourists. We were very happy with all the dishes we ordered (too many to mention). The local wine was great as well. The lady who cooked it came out to chat with us, and as my husband and parents-in-law are Greek, they were able to communicate with her, sharing the stories of how their parents/grandparents came to Greece from Turkey. Overall, we experienced a very good service from the lady's grand daughter who was waiting on tables. The food was delicious, the price was very reasonable. I hope more people will come and have their meals here to help out the local small businesses, instead of just opting for their all-inclusive option at the hotels. The authentic Greek cuisine served in this taverna was excellent. Even my mother-in-law, who is a great cook herself said so. That must be something!!
