The most popular and frequent café in town. Great location of the historical centre, two steps from the hotel. An extrovagant theme of the interior of a legendary novel of 12 chairs. And above all, the great kitchen of this cafe was praised. You'll be in Costrom, you'll have to visit this place.
Great atmosphere from one of the favorite Soviet movies. On top of this tasty food and reasonable prices.
I believe this is one of the best places in Kostroma if we want the best value for money. Stylish. There are many Soviet artifacts here, the main theme being Gaidai's Twelve Chairs. The food is delicious, quite cheap, the waiters are efficient. Delicious breakfast, and they open at 8:30 am a rarity for Kostroma cafes.
Very interesting place. Make sure you read the book first (or watch the movie :
Absolutely fantastic place.. based on the movie 12 chairs (notice it 's translation from Russia) Really good food, traditionally Russian made. Good service. I was here with my Russian colleague. No English menu but worth to try without it, pictures help and staff is helpfull too. They smile when they can offer something special to foreigners. Thank you and greetings from Finland to the staff!
