"The Mohnwirt is a popular traditional restaurant in Austria, located in the small village of Armschlag Lower Austria, where the Poppies (Opium) are popular in Austria, poppy seeds that are mostly sweet in this country. "Das Lokal „Cafe & Eis & Pizzeria Donauprinzessin“ hat eine hervorragende Lage vis-a-vis der Donau, nur durch die Bundesstraße getrennt, dies ist aber nicht störend, da wenig Verkehrslärm. Das Innenlokal ist eher klein gehalten, aber dafür gibt es eine sehr große Terrasse mit vielen bequemen Sitzgelegenheiten und vielen Sonnenschirmen. Die Terrasse ist immer sehr gut frequentiert, da diese etwas über dem Straßenniveau liegt und daher eine sehr gute Aussicht auf die Donau und die gegenüberliegende Landschaft bietet. Direkt beim Lokal sind die Parkplätze eher dünn gesät, aber bei der nahe gelegenen Fähre gibt es immer wieder freie Plätze. Das Service ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Speise-Menükarte sehr übersichtlich, super große Pizzen (Winzerpizza, California, Calzone, Veggipizza etc.), die gut belegt sind, mit feinem Teig und auch geschmacklich sehr gut sind.Ein gutes Angebot an Mehlspeisen wie Marillen-Soufflé-Schnitte etc. sowie verschiedener Cafes ist ebenfalls vorhanden und sehr gutes selbstgemachtes Eis, wie Waldbeerbecher, Joghurtbecher, Nussbecher, Mozartbecher, Schokobecher, Waldviertler Mohnbecher (wirklich sehr gut), Wachauer Marillenbecher, gerührter Eiskaffee und Bananensplit und das bei einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.Sollte diese Bewertung für Sie hilfreich gewesen sein, bitte den "Hilfreich Button" aktivieren!"
