"Staying a night in this tempel in koyasan is clearly recommended not only eating completely vegan, the personal also speaks English and is very friendly and welcoming. we loved the free bikes that were provided, and the famous Okuno-in-Kemetry is only a few minutes walk away. the morning prayer session was a unique experience, the rooms were large with views of the garden and a private bathroom. it was very cold in the hot, but futon, hot bath and heating made the room very cozy in the night. everything in all our stay here was unforgettable. updated by previous review on 2022-06-16"

"Location: across the street from Fugenin-in temple on Senjuin dori;one half block from Main Street of Koyasan . There are menus displayed in front of the entrance, that say vegetarian in English. Food: lunch only. Set meals with tofu,veggies, sesame tofu, barley rice mixture, rice bowls with veggies, or udon noodles. Moderate prices and quick service.if the Cafe Bon On Shya is closed or full, and you don't want to pay a lot for shojin ryori, this cafe is worth trying for lunch or a , coffee or tea break. "Accidentally stumbled on this bakery during toe 711 for some soy milk. surprising to go and see well labeled vegan. look at the color-coded categories on the wall (white for no milk or eggs) with accompanying images, which does not contain any color. no English signs, so the pictures were nice help. Previously: we saw a white, encoded brot that might not have eggs or milk, but speck had in it. only for the case, we flashed our vegan card and the personal went around, showed us all brote that were vegan (based on everything white encoded minus the obvious meat). they pick up a basket and fill it with brot. it was by far the best brot we tried in japan. we tried a brot filled with feige and cherry (a so big combo) and one with walnuts. brot was fresh, crispy crust, airy inside with considerable filling. they had also organic coffee"
