Very beautiful and interesting food is great milkshakes were some of the best But the service was poor we were given a table but no menus we waited 15min until i asked for a menu which was very short and had no beverages on after our meal we ordered drinks which took a good 20 min to come waiter did apologize but i feel that they forget about the customer this was a quiet day i don't even what to see what the service... read more.

Very cute little eatery and if you are from South Africa, the food has a sense of nostalgia...here you can still get things like samp and roosterkoek and melkte...

amazingly fresh and crispy lake, skillfully prepared. fantastic ochre tail with flower cauliflower, roasted squash and reis. masterful mile and a perfect capuzi...

"Just wow. What a venue and what a setting. You can really not get any closer to the ocean unless you are in it. I love the casual vibe where you can sit with your feet in the sand and just relax. The service is incredible and our waiter was very knowledgeable and we never had to wait longer than 5 mins for anything we ordered. We opted for the shellfish platter for 2 and we should have invited more friends as the portions were fantastic and all the ingredients fresh. I most like how they serve everything in old tin cups and plates...reminds me a lot of my childhood. In the summer I can only imagine it must be a haven to visit and spend some well deserved down time at. A must visit if you are in the area as a landmark setting in Jay bay."

"We were in town shooting a wedding and it was our first time in St Francis! What a lovely town. The next morning we needed a good breakfast and our hosts told us about Rambling Rose. SHO we were so happy to find such a cool place. Friendly owner, great food and awesome kids area. Will definitely return if we in St Francis again."
