We drove up from the coast road via a windy sometimes steep road up to Kuranda wondering if it was worth the effort but when we arrived we knew it was. The Sky lift would have been easier and no doubt very scenic but we arrived with everything we needed in the car. Appeared to have a nice menu with good prices, however didn't have items available that were listed on the menu. Got a chocolate milkshake that wasn't a milkshake - tasted like bland chocolate milk. Had spent $40 on lunch and then went to buy a water afterwards with eftpos and was told "minimum spend ten dollars" in a rude tone despite having just spent $40 on food. Poor customer service! Good was just OKAsked for spaghetti with butter only and was told, they didn't have butter.
