3.5We enjoyed our yum cha brunch today at Box Hills Golden Lily Restaurant. Like much of Box Hill at the moment, it was less busy than I have experienced in the past but that meant for a more relaxed experience and us not being shoved out the door. There was a good variety of dishes but we seemed to notice a lot more fried carts heading in our direction when it was steams we were after. The staff were attentive and friendly and got us requested dishes for the kids and congee for the late riser. Overall enjoyable but a more expensive yum cha experience than usual and oddly no one returned our change after we paid the bill... under $5 but would have been nice to at least have had the option to take it or leave it.
