"Very tasty Indian style curry! The staff was friendly, and it was very clean and had a good atmosphere. I was surprised with how much shrimp was in my curry! The only issue is that there were no multilingual menus, so I had to Google translate my way through understanding some things, but at least the menu was simple so it was easy to do. Highly recommended as a nice simple, cheap curry meal. (Also, they have a vegetable curry, for those that need to know)."

"We arrived 10min before the last order and we had a nice welcome from the owner. Very good hamburgers in Kushiro and very nice restaurant. Worth the price and the walk!"

"Despite the name, there's nothing ordinary about this place. Perhaps the best meal we had in Hokkaido and one of the best French dinners I've had in Japan (or France). Husband and wife team, wife is front of house and can tell the village each vegetable is from (probably the field too) and the husband cook has a wonderful way with the ingredients, light but flavourful, and everything cooked to perfection. We went one night, and, while there, booked again for the next night. The lamb, fish, pork, beef, was all fantastic, as was the corn soup, the seafood soup, and the best venison I've ever had. We tried almost every dish they had over 2 nights and didn't have anything to complain about with any of them. They also have some nice Riesling-like wines from Hokkaido, and some nice whisky and cognac for afterwards. If we lived in Kushiro we'd be there at least once a week. And for this standard, you'd pay at least double in Tokyo (or Lyon), and you wouldn't be getting fresh Hokkaido ingredients."
