The resort is unique and something special. The staff and management are absolutely friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious. The gravel road for the last 12km approaching the resort is hostile, which was the one negative. View all feedback.

What Wayne J doesn't like about Drakensberg Mountain Retreat:
The KZN Naturist Association took over the resort for the weekend. The weather did not play along. In fact it seemed to have it in for us. A storm blew down the power lines, and we had no power for the whole weekend. The manager Paul only ran the backup generator for two hours of 48 hours of our weekend. We received very little support from the management, no offers of candles, matches. It could have been better. View all feedback.

Perfect little mountain gem! Stayed in the farm house, it’s basic but the views of the mountains are next level.
