Marvellous architecture and features retained and cared for. Reasonable services and good value for money. Disappointing there was no complementary water in the room (none in the minibar either) and disappointing that the bar was closed at 23:20 thus denying a thirsty Scotsman a nightcap. I did not stay in this hotel, but it is the one hotel (out of 14) that refused to refund our room deposit from 2020 when we were forced to cancel due to the pandemic. After just over two years and many emails the hotel finally refunded our deposit. But even the reluctant refund was not easy and took over a month.
