What Honoré Brun likes about Les Charmilles:
One of my favourites around where we live.Uninspiring exterior on the roundabout in La Brede, and simple rustic interior, but good honest tasty food the way French food was 30 years ago.Everything is made in house rather than being bought in and reheated, which sadly is becoming rarer in France (less than 30% of restaurants), mainly because of unworkable labour laws.The daily €12 menu is a bargain for 3 courses, incl... Would love to review the food, it looked delicious but we sat at the table the waitress told us to for 45 min without being acknowledged before we left. It was really weird and the worst we’ve ever been treated around the world. The restaurant was pretty full, but seriously. Even when we tried to ask her for menus, she totally ignored us.
