"DEPLORABLE SERVICE. Unfortunately unpleasant experience, I 've been wanting to try this place for a while, I won 't be going back. The dish ordered was good but I bit into an extremely hot pepper (I was not at all warned that there would be some in the dish . My mouth was on fire (really, not just hot, but burned for an hour following the meal, my lips changed color (that 's telling you...! and I should point out that I traveled in Thailand, lived for 6 years with a Mexican, so I know very well how to recognize a dish with an error in the dosage. The dish was not particularly spicy since I was able to eat a few mouthfuls without problem before hitting the pepper. It could have ended there, it was an error, nothing dramatic, and I would have left it there. My friend quickly flagged down the waiter to ask for some bread. I asked him what was so spicy in my dish to avoid taking it back he barely answered me. And at the end of the meal when Monsieur asks me if everything went well I tell him very kindly that the dish was good but that we absolutely must warn people that there are ULTRA ULTRA hot peppers (and even don 't don 't actually use it unless you ask...! and then, lunar responses... ah well no it 's not strong though ah well... say it to my mouth ah well c It 's light peppers though Ok.... very commercial it 's Thai food at the same time it 's normal that it 's spicy .... My friend told her that I still had lips that changed color it 's not trivial... But nothing to do, it was me who was the little one. Mind-blowing. I wasn 't even asking for compensation, in fact just an oula, sorry, we 'll be careful . He left the table leaving us hallucinated. Very unpleasant I won 't go anymore. Dishes were well-prepared although nothing really stood out.What was outstanding was the service by the owner/manager. You get treated like a second-class citizen especially if you aren't French-speaking. I would avoid this place unless you really have no choice - Moustiers Saint Marie has quite a few other top-notch restaurants."

"Our worst food in France during our two-week holiday. there was no choice of the menu despite different menu options displayed outside. that was not a problem for us, but the quality of the food was substandards. Moreover, after we have brought our canapés, we were reliant on waiting for our escape. we have asked for a few minutes, but the deer appeared immediately with the waitress and said she had been overtaken by her boss. the appetizers were cold, so there was absolutely no apology for us to be hurried. the rest of the meal was similar hastened and eating was quite terrible. the main course of the pigs was overlooked and dry, while the dessert consisted of tinted fruits. we will not return."

"We tumbled on this gem out of pure coincidence. It has to really be one of the best restaurants in France, hidden away in between gorgeous fields of lavender. Make the extra effort, go up the gravel road and let yourself be surprised by the...magnificence. Not only of the food, but the kindness of the people, the view, the swimming pool (bring your togs! .
