This is very good, old-fashioned French catering. The restaurant itself is stylishly decorated, with proper table linen and good attention to details of service. The menu is not particularly large, but if my selection is anything to go by, this should be considered a positive...feature. Each dish was delicious, and there were two separate amuse-bouches. Highly recommended by me and by the hosts at my chambre d'hotes... View all feedback.
What Frank Eichenberger doesn't like about L'Écho et l'Abbaye:
In the room was full, so we asked to eat on the terrace. Considering that many places to close due to the coronavirus, one would have thought that some efforts had been made to increase the number of tables. So at 1 o'clock, with a real weather, we were told that the hotel would no longer prepare meals and certainly would not serve on the terrace because it was too cold.... honest.... View all feedback.
Beautiful restaurant very tastefully decorated, with the best dishes and bed linen. There are special occasions. Service is very good and the food is really nice, so many restaurants in France now fall on the skills its beautiful to find a chef who knows what he does. Of course it is in a perfect sunfall. too hot to eat outside, although they have tables and the view of the L'abbaye, as it is renovated, is also good. Value also for money. A must. The only good place to eat in town.
