Been here many times and it's our go-to place for all kinds of tacos (seafood and carnitas). Worth the money and you get a lot of food in a 5 inch taco. For two or three taco plates it's the exact same price as Rubios but 100 times tastier, healthier and much better quality. We love the Al Pastor, Regular carnitas and the beer battered fish and shrimp. Sauces, toppings, sides are all excellent. View all feedback.
What Mary Brown doesn't like about Casero Taquería:
Beautiful patio and indoor facility for American Mexican fare. The birria taco was oily and salty, the veggie taco was somewhat interesting, and the grilled fish taco was flavorless and served with a sweet sauce that did nothing to enhance the dish. Chips were crisp. Salsa tasted like something from a jar. Interesting mocktail list. Service was friendly and efficient. The patio was very nice with a pleasant view. View all feedback.
It's a cute little addition to the Bressi neighborhood. Free warm chips and entrees ranging from$14 to $18. Although, watch your teeth on the chips. They are unexpectedly thick and hard/crunchy. The biggest complaint is that it's not relaxing to dine here. The acoustics are terrible because of all of the concrete surrounding you from the floors to the ceiling. Everyone is shouting to hear each other over all of the other guests in the restaurant including the screaming kids. Perhaps it's more civil on the patio? Seating and service was swift. Ask for the jalapeno pineapple margarita, it's got a nice kick.By the way, they charge that stupid 3% surcharge. I still don't get why we have to tip 20 to 30% when a restaurant is not only paying their servers $15 an hour but now charging us an additional 3% of all checks.
The food was very good and the staff was a delight. Drinks were solid too. Not over priced either. Definitely worth a

They were having an off day when we went. The food kept coming out wrong, took forever, and our drinks never got refilled. They were very apologetic, and explained that there were only 2 servers working that day so they were understaffed. My friend eats there all the time, and says it is usually very good. I have eaten there one other time and it was good, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt.
If you're in the area, you have to stop here and enjoy this place. We came here while on vacation in the area and I can't wait to come back. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The location was great and we loved the ambience of the restaurant. The chips are salsa were so tasty and they had so many different options of delicious cocktails and mocktails.I got the surf n turf burrito. There are no words to describe how good this burrito was. Easily the best burrito I've ever had.10/10, can't wait to come back!
