sitting outside on the beach was very special. Of course hot. the shadow was difficult to find. they offered an inside seat. who wants to sit in the house (dark when they visit the beach (from a cold climate!? the child options were appropriate and enjoyed the fish roast basket. they made a medium (picture! vegetarian curry in an ananas! they even seemed to have a vegan option as they asked me all whether cream etc.... They get 2 stars because the food was decent and service was ok. That said, this was by far the most expensive food that we had in all of Costa Rica. For a beer, a lemonade, a ceviche, a chicken Caeser salad, and a club sandwich it cost $84 USD and that wasn't including tip. I live in the most expensive state in the US and that meal with drinks could have been purchased for $60 max after inflation. We were able to ea... View all feedback.
Food was amazing, Server spoke really good English, and had lots of funny jokes. Fire dancer played whe we ate. Definitely recommend this place to anyone!! Owner was super nice
I don’t care if it was raining cats and dogs this place was great in fact I think the thunderstorm that came through in the middle of the dinner just brought everybody together in the restaurant it was a hoot. The food was absolutely awesome and the music well the band was terrific and did I say how good the food was I will definitely be back
Location is perfect. Service is very slow. Forgot our drinks a few times. I ordered a Tequila Sunrise, zero Tequila....asked for a shot to add to my drink and received a shot of water. The food was okay, but their integrity is zero.
DIARRHEA!! For dinner, we got ceviche, seared tuna, the fried fish platter and a gin soda. I woke up at 3AM with stabbing stomach pains, and then diarrhea that started soon after. We weren 't even impressed when we were eating there. It is definitely an overpriced tourist trap for people that are drunk and don 't know any better. The sad part of our night was that we had walked the whole beach looking for a good restaurant saw the crowd and thought it might be good. Check WHO is there next time... Not just the size of the crowd.
Hotel is excellent, restaurant is horrible. Charges more than any other beach side restaurant in Tamarindo. Two drinks, two ceviche’s.. 86$ USD. The bill didn’t add up and the self-given tip was extremely high (almost 20$ . A bunch of other places offer the exact same experience and view!
