What Caroline Biss likes about Le Solstice:
Very nice establishment at the bottom of the slopes. Meals one at midday, the other in the evening. Attentive staff and original, well-cooked dishes. What b bob doesn't like about Le Solstice:
The food is good, the setting is nice but a little stuffy, the service is deplorable and the prices are prohibitive (for example, the same pizza recipe costs 48€ or 49€ depending on which page you look at in the menu. Also keep a close eye on the bill: they charge you for products not ordered! No wonder the restaurant was practically empty. There are so many nicer places in Val d'Isère!
